My sister, Kimberly, has been serving in England since September. Her plans were to visit for a short time around Christmas. However, when my Grandfather's health started to slip, along with a dear friend of hers getting married after Thanksgiving. Plus the simple thought of not celebrating Thanksgiving came to mind, she made some changes in her travel plans. For about a month, Kimberly and I strategically and secretly planned an early holiday arrival for the day before Thanksgiving. My grandparents and parents had no idea of the surprise they were in for the eve of Thanksgiving.
Since Kimberly's arrival, she has been living with us! She has been spending a lot of quality time with Brady and Bailey. We have had some great conversations which have filled my days with happiness. She introduced a new bedtime storybook to our family. It is called "Hug Time" by Patrick McDonnell. Within a few days Brady had the book memorized and was reading it to us!
Kimberly will be traveling back to England in the middle of January. She has brought great joy and happiness to our home. We have enjoyed every second! Her presence will be missed over the next 9 months, however we can Skype whenever we want! Yay!

My best friend, Liz, bought that book for Hannah a couple of years ago! I remember we laughed so hard because we didn't know how to pronounce the tree that starts with a "B" (bow-a-bab) -we had to look it up online and listen to a pronounciation of it! Sad!
