As I passed the Easter bunny in the mall a few days ago, I suddenly realized that I have never taken Brady to have his picture with Santa or the Easter Bunny. I felt a bit guilty about this, so I confided in Randy, pondering why we have never taken our "poor and neglected" son to visit the silly wabbit. I explained that when I think of these holidays I think of so much more than holiday "icons", which explains why I have never made getting his picture taken a priority. It is easy to think of Easter as a day full of the traditional egg hunts, candy, and the Easter bunny. However, we have so much more to be thankful for; that Jesus Christ was resurrected. This day reminds us of His promise for eternal life and His love for us all. How awesome is that! Dont give me wrong, we did have our traditions that day but mindful of what the day was really all about. Praise God!
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead...1 Peter 1:3
This picture is typical of Brady, running his hands through my hair, like he has done virtually since the day he was born.
Can I get a smile PLEASE?
Easter afternoon at the Easterwood/Dupree/Niemeyer Easter gathering.
I think Brady collected like 4 eggs during the whole hunt. Once he finds an egg, he wants to open and eat! Regardless, he was happy.

Here is Brady, starting before he was supposed to! Little Munchkin!
Sunday night after all of the Easter festivities I took Brady to the creek. Despite the early morning thunderstorms, the weather was beautiful throughout the afternoon and evening.
That pretty much wraps up our Easter weekend.
