Sea World 2011

We recently went to Sea World with Justin, Lauren, Hunter and Holten.  A friend of Laurens, Taryn, also came along with her daughter Elle.  We spent two nights in San Antonio on the river walk and one day at the park.  We didn't feel much of the heat, because most of our time was spent in "Lost Lagoon", the waterpark part of Sea World.  Brady & Randy spent most of the time riding water rides & slides.  Yes, Brady was old enough to ride some of them!  Bailey & I stayed in the baby pool most of the day, which was perfect for her.  They had small slides, cushioned climbers and lots of shallow water.  After about 4 or 5 hours in the water, we ventured outside of the Lost Lagoon.  We had some ice cream, fed the dolphins, rode a small rollercoster, climbed in the enormous jungle gym and watched Elmo perform.  It was a great trip and feel very thankful to have friends to enjoy it with.  Thanks Justin, Lauren and Taryn!

How could I forget Rainforest cafe!

The Greatest Show on Earth

Barnum & Bailey Circus

Last Friday, Kristen & I took our boys out for date night.  We started the night off at the great "Chick-fil-a!"  After a quick dinner, we headed to the Coliseum.  We arrived about an hour early for the chance to sit center stage before the show, meet performers, and see a few circus acts up close.  That was fun for the boys, although Brady was not too thrilled about getting out there and dancing.  He sat on the sidelines and watched as Braxton and some of the other kids interacted with the performers.  Brady was a bit bored just sitting there, so we went to check out the light-up sword collection.  We bought one for Braxton and he and Brady sword fought most of the night.  Boys will be boys.  After we grabbed some goodies at the snack bar, Kristen led us to our seats.  She completely surprised us all with front row seat !!  Thank you Kristen, what an experience it was to sit just 15 feet from all the action.  The circus was quite long lasting somewhere in between 2-3 hours.  Kristen and I enjoyed our evening with the boys, one that will not soon be forgotten.  This truly was one of the best date nights I've had with my Brady boy!

Clowning Around!

I was so excited when a friend of ours from Columbus was chosen from the audience to participate in the circus.  His name is Shane Spann, and he was attending the circus with his son Jackson.  He made the show!

Grab some Popcorn!

I put together a montage of vacation pictures and videos! Enjoy!

Flashback #13- Christmas 2009

Christmas 2009 was spent at Wendy & Brian's house. At this time we were still living with them while in the midst building. Even though we were not at "home" during Christmas, we still felt as though we were! We always feel at home when we are around Randy's family, they are always so welcoming.

This Christmas sleeper was also worn by Brady boy on his first Christmas!

Right before we left Christmas Eve for the Candlelight service, it started to SNOW! All I could think of was "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere you go"

Flashback #12- Thanksgiving 09

It feels so silly that I am still flashing back on events from 2009-2010, but I am serious about catching up on my blog. Especially since in those two years, there were so many changes in our family.
Here is a flashback from Thanksgiving 2009. The kids & I spent the few days before Thanksgiving at the Lake visiting family, while Randy stayed in Waco to work. Then we spent Thanksgiving at the Goodnights house with Randy's family.

My lil' man! Love, love this picture!

This is one of my favorite baby pictures of Bailey. She was about 10 weeks old here.

Pure Paradise

Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
June 26th -June 30th

Randy & I vacationed in the DR at the end of June in celebration of our 7th Anniversary. We went with some friends of ours, Jerrod & Michelle. I have to give Michelle all the credit for making this vacation a success (minus the deep sea fishing experience)! She spent hours/days researching the best destinations, resorts, excursions, etc... Randy and I agree that, hands down, this was one of the best vacations we have ever been on. Plus, our company was hilarious and entertained us all week!

Thanks to Michelle, our door and room were decorated upon arrival in honor of our Anniversary.

Our favorite part of the trip was Zip-lining. What an adventure! There were 16 platforms and 12 ziplines.

This was the longest zipline, measuring 800 meters.

This sweet boy brought us a flower half way through our zip-line tour.

I found it interesting that each morning a crew spends 3 hours cleaning up seaweed off the beach.

I love you!

Acting like kids!

Relaxing...I almost forgot what that felt like!
